These graphs display the latest 12 months of results for PFOA, PFOS, and a calculated Hazard Index for a combination of GenX, PFNA, PFHxS, and PFBS. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is proposing a National Primary Drinking Water Regulation that would establish legally enforceable levels, called Maximum Contaminant Levels (MCLs), for these six compounds in drinking water. Information about the proposed MCLs and Hazard Index are available on EPA's website.
Click the three horizontal lines in the upper-right of the graph to show export options for data currently displayed. You can zoom in on a specific date range by clicking and dragging within the graph to highlight the desired range.
Notes: 1) The data in these graphs are results from individual samples. EPA's proposal calls for reporting running averages of sample results for regulatory purposes. 2) Values that are zero may mean the compound was not detected in that sample or that analysis for that compound was not available at the time the sample was taken. 3) Exported csv or Excel files may show "NaN" in some cells. These are blank (no data) cells in the original data.
