Cape Fear Public Utility Authority has published its annual Water Quality Report for 2019.

The report contains data from voluntary and mandatory drinking water sampling conducted throughout CFPUA service areas from January 2019 to December 2019, as well as some historical data, information about our community’s drinking water, and tips for maintaining water quality in the home.

The report is online at: https://www.CFPUA.org/2019WaterQuality.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires that public water suppliers produce a water quality report every year. This report shows we continue to meet or exceed the many drinking water standards established by the State of North Carolina and the EPA. Readers will also find information on GenX and other PFAS found in the Cape Fear River and will learn more about our actions to reduce levels of these compounds in drinking water. In short, this is our official report card, and we are proud to share these results with the community.
