Schedule:
The Burnt Mill Creek Outfall serves the Authority's largest sewer shed, collecting flow from several major tributary sewer outfalls and discharges to one of the Authority's largest sanitary sewer pumping stations, Pump Station 10. This project will include repair, rehabilitation and/or the replacement of approximately 2,600 linear feet of existing 48-inch sanitary sewer outfall along Burnt Mill Creek, from Pump Station Number 10. Approximately 16 sewer manholes and the headworks structure at Pump Station 10 are included in the anticipated improvements. Preliminary investigations of the Burnt Mill Creek Outfall area indicate the pipeline and manholes are in critical need of rehabilitation and/or replacement with some difficult working conditions due to wet soils and marsh conditions. CDM has been approved by the CFPUA Board to design and administer construction for the rehabilitation and/or replacement. Construction is estimated to cost $2.7 million.
