Chairman Jim Quinn
CFPUA Board Chairman Jim Quinn is a commercial and investment real estate broker affiliated with Creative Commercial Properties, Inc. A graduate of East Carolina University, he has served in many civic and service organizations. For Wilmington Downtown, Inc. he has served as President of the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Economic Development Committee. He is a member of the Wilmington Regional Association of Realtors where he served as Chairman of the Political Affairs Committee and is a member and past president of Commercial Investment Industrial Division of the Multiple Listing Service. He has served on the Wilmington City Council. Mr. Quinn was appointed by the city in 2007. His current term ends June 2013.

Vice-Chair Pat Kusek
Pat Kusek is President and Owner of Kusek Financial Group. She holds a bachelors degree in Mathematics from Catawba College, Series 24-General Securities Principal License, Series 53, 7, 63 and 66 Licenses, and life and long term care insurance licenses. A North Carolina native, Ms. Kusek has served on many boards and committees in North and South Carolina. In addition to her financial background, Ms. Kusek has worked in community and public relations in the nuclear power industry. She is a Rotarian and a Paul Harris Fellow. Pat is married to Walter Kusek. In 2011, the City of Wilmington and New Hanover County selected Ms. Kusek as their Joint Appointee, and her term ends June 2014.
Secretary James Brumit
Jim Brumit earned his BS in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech and his MBA from Georgia State University. He owns JGB Partners, LLC, an income tax preparation company. He is retired as General Manager of National Linen Service in Wilmington and Fayetteville. He is a retired Army Reserve colonel having commanded a company, battalion, and a brigade. Jim is married to Carolyn Moseley Brumit, They have four children and six grandchildren. He has lived in southeast North Carolina for many years. He is an elder a St. Andrews-Covenant Presbyterian church. He is a member of several other organizations in Wilmington. His term ends June 2013.
Treasurer Mike Brown
Vice-Chairman Mike Brown is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in both Economics and Management in Society. Mike's past experience includes work with Pulte Homes Corporation (now Pulte Group), a publicly traded Fortune 200 company, where he worked within their Raleigh/Durham market, initially in sales before transitioning to the company’s land development team, responsible for acquiring, entitling, and developing the division’s annual 800+ lot supply. A native of Wilmington, Mike returned to the area in 2008, and is employed with Cape Fear Commercial, a regional firm engaged in commercial brokerage, development, and property management. Mike prides himself in remaining involved in the local community and currently serves as a co-chair of Coastal Carolina Tomorrow’s Transportation Committee, is an Executive Committee Member for the Cape Fear Council of Boy Scouts of America, and is an active member of Saint James Church. Mr. Brown was appointed by the county in 2010. His current term ends June 2013.
Cindee Wolf
Cindee Wolf is the owner of Design Solutions, a land planning and development entitlement consulting firm in Wilmington. In 2009 she served on the Board of Directors for Coastal Carolina Tomorrow, an organization committed to a public and private sector collaborative effort that has as its top objectives sustained economic growth, development of cultural attractions and protection of significant environmental resources. Ms. Wolf was appointed by the city in 2011. Her current term ends June 2014.
Larry Sneeden
Larry Sneeden is a Wilmington native with a BS degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. Larry worked for 30 years as a consulting engineer in the Wilmington area for residential, commercial, institutional, and DOD projects, including extensive water distribution and wastewater collection systems. He presently owns Coastal Stormwater Services, Inc., a construction company that specializes in the construction and repair of stormwater management systems and environmental remediation projects. Larry is a member of the Wilmington Kiwanis Club, Brigade Boys & Girls Club Board of Directors, numerous technical organizations; and is a past member of the Wilmington Planning Commission and Subdivision Review Board. He enjoys hiking with his wife Juanita. His term ends in 2014.
Councilman Neil Anderson
Neil Anderson is originally from High Point, NC and earned a B.A. in History from UNC-Chapel Hill and an M.B.A. from McColl School at Queens College in Charlotte. He has worked in various capacities as a self-employed furtniture manufacturer's representative in the Southeast. His is currently the President of Rising Tide Sales, Inc. and Territory Manager for three fine furniture manufacturers and importers covering the eastern half of North Carolina. He currently lives in Wilmington with his wife and three children. His term ends in 2013.
Keith Betts
Keith Betts earned a BS in Business Administration from St. Andrew Presbyterian College in Laurinburg, NC. After graduation, he began his 32-year banking career with Wachovia. In 2002, he founded Port City Bank, which was sold to Crescent State Bank in 2007. Presently, he is a Senior Vice President with Crescent State Bank. Mr. Betts has served the board of many civic and governmental organizations over the years. Most recently, he was Vice Chairman of the Wilmington Planning Board and is a member of the Salvation Army Advisory Board. Mr. Betts has lived in Wilmington since 1983. He enjoys outdoor activities and athletic events. He and his wife, Jan, have two children and are members of the Westminster Presbyterian Church. Mr. Betts will serve on the Cape Fear Public Utility Board until his term ends on July 1, 2015.
Councilman Charlie Rivenbark
Councilman Charlie Rivenbark is a real estate broker for Maus, Warwick, Matthews & Co. and a life-long resident of Wilmington. He has been a president of Wilmington's Azalea Festival and even run for mayor. He is currently serving his third term on the city council. He enjoys volunteering his time to read to school children. Mr. Rivenbark was appointed by the city in 2010. His current term ends June 2015.
Commissioner Woody White
Commissioner Woody White has been a life-long resident of Southeastern North Carolina and he received his J.D. Degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law, 1994 after receiving his B.S. from Southern College, Chattanooga, TN. He has practiced law in New Hanover County since 1995 and is currently a partner in the law firm of White and Hearne, LLP. Mr. White is married to Tammie Mentzel White and they have two children. He has an extensive background as a successful businessman, community leader, public official, litigating attorney, and strategic planner. His term ends in 2015
Commissioner Tom Wolfe
Commissioner Tom Wolfe is a native Wilmingtonian, and a graduate of New Hanover High School. His business career includes being a member of senior executive management in several national and international retail and wholesale organizations, where he had direct responsibility for financial management, distribution and transportation logistics, merchandise procurement, advertising, retail and franchise operations as well as real estate. Tom was President and CEO, The Bombay Furniture Company of Canada, in Toronto, before returning to Wilmington where he pursued a successful second career in commercial real estate. He is a graduate of Jacksonville University, Jacksonville, FL, with a B. S. in accounting. He and his wife Helen, also a native Wilmingtonian, have two daughters and three grandchildren. He enjoys reading, fishing, hunting and public service. His term ends in 2015.
