Active Mandatory Connection Processes

Mandatory connection is used by cities, counties, and water/sewer authorities across the nation to ensure they have the proper funding for the repair and replacement of the infrastructure needed to take on new customers as it serves its current one.  CFPUA uses a mandatory connection process for all structures within 500' feet of its water and sewer lines.  the projects listed below are those areas currently under some portion of the mandatory connection process, whether it is the initial information phase or the 180-day mandatory connection period.

House Bill 44, recently passed by the state legislature, removed the ability of water utilities to enforce mandatory connection after July 1, 2017.  CFPUA is following the law as it enforces its remaining water-related mandatory connection processes.
